Workshops

Closing Gaps, Connecting Communities.

How They Work

At Mend the Gap Community Services, our workshops are interactive, in-depth learning experiences designed to support learning, connection, and personal growth. These sessions are typically over three hours in length and can take many forms, including:

  • Multi-day workshops
  • Full-day workshops
  • Programs that span several weeks

The main goal of a workshop is to teach and equip participants, giving them opportunities to practice the tools and skills being taught. Workshops are highly interactive, encouraging engagement, hands-on learning, and skill development.

We offer a variety of established workshop topics, and each session can be adapted to meet the needs of the group participating. Whether the audience is youth, adults, community members, or professionals, we work to ensure the content is relevant, engaging, and responsive to the experiences of those attending.

In addition to our existing topics, we can also design customized workshops tailored specifically to the needs of your community, organization, agency, or workplace.

Example of Workshops:

  • Building Healthy Connections and Relationships
  • Goal Setting, Education, and Career Exploration
  • Life Skills and Personal Development
  • Professional Development Sessions for Staff and Teams
  • Agency Wellness Days or Wellness Retreats
  • Pop-Up Wellness Activities for workplaces, events, or community gatherings

If you are interested in hosting a workshop, wellness day, retreat, or pop-up wellness activity, please reach out to learn how we can work together to support your community or organization.
